Justin is a Sydney-based artist and prop maker working in digital and practical mediums to create sets, props and characters for film, theatre and video-games.

Justin is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art and a skilled sculptor and painter, using mediums such as hard coating, silicone, fibreglassing and mould-making.

Prior to pursuing his interest in film props, model making and special effects, Justin enjoyed a successful career producing 3d-models at internationally recognised studios in Australia and the UK. His areas of expertise include modelling realistic and stylized props, environments and characters, taking the models through from concept to texturing and skinning for animation.

Justin has experience in wide rang of mediums. His focus has been in creating art is to imbue the object or character with movement, weight and aesthetic style, bringing both digital and practical creations to life.

Watusi is owned and operated by the ‘legendary’ Justin Robson. He has been making props and models for the film, television and advertising industry for more than 30 years.

Justin originally trained in the fine arts as a sculptor, but turned his exemplary skills to prop-making and scenic art, of any scale or animation.

Justin’s sets, props and model making workshop is in Brookvale on the Northern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia.
